Year round, with enough light

Pot Size:
4" to 6" pot or shallow container with good drainage

Sunlight:
At least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day
(Use a grow light if natural light is limited)

Soil:
Well draining potting mix, preferably sandy or gritty

Steps:

1. Fill pot with soil and gently press in a few seeds
    
2. Mist the surface, avoid overwatering
    
3. Place in a sunny windowsill or under a grow light
    
4. Seeds take 14 to 21 days to sprout
    
5. Water lightly when soil feels dry to the touch
    
6. Once grown, snip sprigs as needed for cooking
    

Pro Tip:
Let the soil dry slightly between waterings. Thyme doesn’t like soggy roots.
